THE WHITE UNICORN BAROQUE APOTHECARY | Klatovy

The White Unicorn Baroque apothecary It is situated in the square in a house of Klatovy pharmacists. The unique Baroque interior was created by the Jesuits for their own apothecary within the order college.

After the order dismission in 1773 the equipment was sold to the local pharmacist called Firbas, who transferred it in his house.

During the tour inside visitors can follow the development of pharmacy from its beginning to 1966, when the apothecary finished its public service.
